Nigella damascena, love-in-a-mist, or devil in the bush is native to southern Europe, north Africa and southwest Asia. This variety is a nice deep blue. It can grow in Northern Europe but struggles to thrive in certain areas. I got these seeds originally from Illustration botanique de Kélanie. You can eat these seeds, they taste like a crispy mix between cumin and black sesame.

Sow: Direct seed in ground on surface, 1 week after last frost, does not like transplanting.

Harvest: All season long during flowering. Leave some flower heads for re-seeding
