Grown on the farm, this beautiful flowering plant was gifted to us from Owen Bridge Annapolis seeds. Seeds have trace minerals and healthy fats!

We had the great honor of welcoming His Holiness Siri Samanthabhadra Thero to our farm, along with the founders of Cha's Organics, to receive a gift of black sesame seeds. These seeds, originally from Sri Lanka, are part of an initiative to rematriate seeds to their homeland. We were thrilled to host him and his community, introduce them to my family, and connect him with Stephen McComber, a Haudenosaunee seed keeper from Kahnawake. Together, we participated in a seed gifting ceremony, reconnecting with the true essence of seeds—their role in exchange and sharing.
