Grown on the farm, this Seneca pole bean came to us from Stephen McComber, Kahnawake(Silverbear Arts). Small red and white beans are great in soups and salads. This is bean is originally the Seneca Cornstalk bean and has been renamed multiple times by many settler communities.

Extremely productive climbing dry bean, this beige and deep red speckled seed is a delight in the on your plate. Small seed that is very tasty and versatile for the recipes in the kitchen that will not disappoint any gardener willing to try a new bean in their garden. Seeds given to me by Stephen McComber Mohawk Seed saver from Kahnawake.

Sow: Direct seed after last frost

Harvest: After 90 days and the bean is brown and dry
