Sow: Indoors in March and transplant out after the last frost. Harvest: When the flowers are in full bloom. Leave some flowers on plant to be able to harvest the seeds. Grown on the farm, this beautiful native heirloom perennial plant is incredibly multipurpose both internally and externally and we use it in our natural apothecary. The plant attracts many pollinators and is a great ally for your garden friends. We obtained the original seeds from our friend Mélanie Chapleau at
Jardin de la Gaillarde and we have been growing them here ever since. We recommend that you place this plant with intention as it is a great big and generous plant that will want to take up the space you have given it. I like to plant it with other plants that demand alot of space so they keep each other in check like comfrey, motherwort, catnip and such. [icons]
